School magazine front cover analysis

The first task was to analyse two school magazine front covers. This will help me in know what the key factors of a magazine are but also the positive and negative effects, which will help me achieve a more professional finished piece.

For example:

• over using bright colours makes the magazine overwhelming but contrasting colour makes the colours bolder and stand out. 
• a simplistic background compared to a busy background, the simplistic is easier to read but doesn't grab the reader but a busy background becomes to much and push the reader away.
